im thinking of visiting texas and im wondering which one of the two is better, i know texas is better in everyway but its just that im thinking that i might live in Texas if i like it after i visit it....my friend has a house in Burlenson Texas that he'll let me stay in...im a nature guy and so i love the outdoors...and work is no problem for me since it can travel with me....soo my qustion is which one will you recommend me living in Cross Timber or Briaroaks or if you have suggestions...on great cities just make it a small city (im from Cali. and im bored with the big cities) near Burlenson...

Well, both of these small towns, Briaroaks the larger of the two with an population of under 1,000, are in East Texas. Briaroaks Oaks seems to be the more prosperous of the two. Warning, there is not much racial diversity or tolerance in these tiny east Texas towns. Three quarters of the families are married with 1 or 2 children living at home under the age of 18.

Cleburne is pretty close, is the county seat, but still has a very nice small-town personality. It is surrounded by lakes and wilderness...housing is more affordable; not so close to multiple interstates as Burleson, which has become more sub-urb-ish to Fort Worth.

The Austin area is the most fun and most beautiful.
Not sure where Burlenson is and small cities vary quite a bit in character.
