I would never. Fur is dead, people!! Many animals killed for their fur are kind, friendly animals. It takes more than 60 times as much energy to produce a fur coat from animals than it does to make fake fur. Yeah. Countries such as France kill more that 70 MILLION animals a year. That makes you think twice. After reading this, would you ever buy fur?

Also, it's eco-friendlier to go faux. A lot of chemicals are used on fur to keep it from decomposing in your closet. IN YOUR CLOSET!!! And it's more energy efficient to go faux.

i do no longer placed on fur- i could basically placed on fur from an animal that had already been killed for meat, as that is composed of utilising the completed animal. So relatively, basically rabbit fur or a reindeer's coat, as those are issues that are killed for food yet extensively utilized for fur. interior an identical way, I do placed on leather-based and sheepskin, considering that's being much less wasteful to apply each little bit of an animal and the aniamls have been killed as humanely as a hazard (a minimum of here interior the united kingdom). you may disagree with me on that, yet whats up, diverse strokes for various people precise? i does no longer placed on crocodile leather-based till I knew the crocodile were eaten- and probably no longer then the two, as there are a hell of lots greater cows than there are crocodiles.

"The way to go is faux."
Even before I read this, I've always had a strong stance against genuine fur and no, I would NEVER wear it.
I do wear leather shoes and such, but cattle are slaughtered for more than just their skins, so I feel differently about it.

i would because fur is natural and warm. most ancient civilisations wore fur or leather, and all animals should be considered kind friendly animals, i know its easier to love some more than others but they are all animals. i do hope and encourage the places that are killing the animals do it humanely without allowing the animal to suffer for long periods.

Never ever would I buy fur. It's completely unnecessary in this day and age. The only people that DO own and wear fur are shallow uncaring people or grizzled old mountain men.

Most animals killed for their fur were raised for that purpose. And it's your right to NOT buy fur just as much as it's my right to buy fur if I so choose. Doesn't make you right and me wrong or vice versa. It's a choice. Get over it.
