It means you are an inspiration or an example to others. It means ordinary people who know you aspire to be like you and view you as a positive roll model. It can also mean that your personality, charisma, intelligence (or whatever) affect people in such a way that you will leave a noticeable hole when you move away or die. It means people respect you, honor you or adore you.
