Yeah, I would say so, I think it is because they know that no matter what you will still love them (if we are talking about family) because that is how unconditional love is. Well that is probably not true for all families. That is just how things are, I think that it is better that way though, because if we were hurt most by people we didn't know, we would have hate in our hearts and wouldn't forgive as easily. Even though it might be one of the hardest things to do, forgiveness is the best for both parties.

Yes. I believe the reason is b/c the ones that you let yourself fall in love with are the ones that you open yourself up the most to. Therefore putting yourself in a vulnerable state. It's a chance you need to take, unless you want to go through life w/out true love. No matter what, the one you love will hurt you, you will hurt the one you love, but if it's worth it, that love will get you through.

But it only makes sense that the people closest to you could be the ones who could hurt you the most. Right? Somebody living in the middle of Mongolia can't hurt you. A stranger on the street is highly unlikely to hurt you. But if say your mom has you sign over all your money and possessions to her then gets you arrested and sent to jail on bogus charges, that would hurt. Nobody in Mongolia or a stranger on the street could do that, only somebody close.

is that a song ? well, answering your question, probably the reason why, is when you talk to someone you love, you don't hold any feelings back, you scream, curse, yell, and hate with your words, looks and actions. so, they do the same to you, and you hurt each other. sometimes thats why you love your friends better than your family, because with your family, you don't really hide some of your more hatefull feelings, your friends you don't want to hurt, so you are kinder to them

No. Contrary to popular belief, love should not hurt. That includes parents, children, friends, lovers, spouses, etc.

Yes it really does seem like that for me. I feel like I'm not getting any understanding or support from them at all lately but hopefully it will pass soon.
