Myrtle Beach would be the most popular for the tourism.
Charleston is up there with Myrtle Beach because of the base.
Myrtle Beach is a tourism spot and Hilton Head Island is right there by it.
I have been wanting to take a vacation to Myrtle Beach. I hear South Carolina is beautiful.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Charleston and Myrtle Beach both come to my mind so its pretty much a tie with me between those two cities, but with all the rich history of Charleston, its probably the more popular city for most people.

Columbia is bigger than Charleston. Columbia is a great college town (Univ of SC) and the crime rate isn't as bad as Charleston's...But Charleston has a better night life, the beach is nearby, and the malls are better..I live in Columbia but try to make it to Charleston once a month.

honestly, the only city that I can think of that is in south carolina is Charleston. So, to me it would have to be Charleston.

It has to be Charleston, SC. Its nice, clean and a great place to visit.
