I've been redefining myself ever since I got laid off from my legal secretary job which I held for 16 years. That was in early November of 2005. My Steve committed suicide on December 16, 2005. So as I say, I'm still redefining myself. But it's working out pretty well so far. I like being a mentor to young people, and I've joined the Ethical Society. I'm preparing a presentation for the Sunday nearest Halloween on "propaganda and brainwashing." I may even write something for publication if I can organize my thoughts sufficiently. I'm also getting active with Americans United for Separation of Church and State, and with Ron Paul's presidential campaign. If I can feel I'm being useful to my community and my world, I am content.
