He worked a dark match on Raw, but they didn't hire him back yet.
D-Lo worked a match against Abyss last night on an indy show.

Wow, a lot of smarky harsh answers for such an innocent question. It is true, D'Lo has been re-scouted by WWE bookers, he has participated in dark matches, and yes, Stephanie McMahon's fairly high on the idea of hiring him...but that doesn't 100% mean it's going to happen.
It took Colt Cabana around 2 years of jobbing on Velocity to get a development deal, and Chuck Palumbo a year to get re-signed. One dark match doesn't mean anything, it's true, but it does tell us that Vince is making a step towards the right direction. A lot of non-physique bearing guys have been reviewed by WWE in dark matches, including the wrestler formerly known as Rosey (and no, he's not Umaga, Jamal is Umaga) and the forementioned D'Lo Brown. I hope Brown gets re-signed, but it's definitely not a sure thing right now, but it doesn't hurt having a McMahon endorcing you

Its true he was in a dark match weeks ago on RAW, but after not getting any feedback from the WWE as to whether they were going to sign him back, he went to working shows on the indy scene in Japan. I heard Stephanie McMahon really wanted to bring him back to the RAW roster but I guess Vinnie Mac wasn't intrested.
