I don't want to pay any money or anything, but what is a good website to learn how to make your own website with step by step instructions. It doesnt have to be wicked involved or anythin, just the basics. Anyone have a good one?

I liked http://webmonkey.com but others like http://w3cschools.com . Learning HTML or XHTML is not hard it is something you can do in a weekend if you just practice it and use the tools available on the web for free such as the html and css validation tools on http://w3c.org .

there's all kinds of free "HTML from scratch" tutorials around the net.... just do a search for "free html tutorial"
it's pretty technical kinda stuff if you already know what you're doing, if not... you're gonna have your work cut out for you.

Good Luck.
