I'm going to take a shot in the dark here.

I'm going to say because they are stalling to get Russell ready. Al Davis wrote a quite a check to Russell and he expects to cash in on it. When the Raiders end up with another crappy record like they did last year they don't have many options but to start Russell. Also, with a crappy record they get a great draft pick. They just might pick up a good receiver in the 2008 draft. It's a stretch but with Al Davis you never know.

Because Al Davis spent a huge amount of money on a player who is probalbly going to learn and most likely the hard way because he wants his money's worth. Daunte Culpepper deserves the starting job and Oakland stands a better chance of einning a few games and Jemarcus Russell could learn wuickly from him and so Al Davis can get what he wants but you never know when Al Davis is involved. I think it is a mistake to put him in before he is ready and ends up being another bust.

I'm guessing Kiffin wants to give McCown another shot and show confidence in him, hoping that will get him to step his game up. If so, i think it's a gamble...but then, against Cleveland, he might put up big numbers. I agree though that Culpepper should be starting at this point. INT's are momentum killers and McCown has too many.

I think it is simply a bad coaching decision by a first time head coach. Lane Kiffin made a bad decision because Culpepper looked better in preseason. I don't buy that they are waiting for Russell because he will get his chance regardless. Put in Culpepper now and give your team a shot at winning some games.

Because he's no better than McCown. Come on, Raiders fans have got to know that their just buying time to get Jamarcus Russel ready to play. As soon as he's got a good handle on the play book he'll be out there running for his life.

Al Davis is an fool and is dumb sufficient to probable think of that if his QB is Black then with the black uniform his QB may well be camouflaged! Or he's in the concepts physique of as quickly as you pass black you in no way pass back. the two way I in basic terms think of this is barely the success of the draw and in basic terms the gamers that he concept might help his team. And why does it remember anyhow? does not remember in the event that they're white, black, blue or green they're all nonetheless soccer gamers who attempt to play for a terrible proprietor who needs to pass get Parcells to convey his team back to the eightes! The question does sound variety of racist in a manner yet its a query and if every physique thinks this is then what approximately all of the cases human beings ask approximately white gamers in basketball? its not a controversy till somebody talks black human beings and anybody in basic terms needs to recover from that!
