This parade began in 1887. So this will be its 120th year. Every year it is a newsworthy event. Local newscasters host the parade. I watch it on TV. Local girl scouts and boy scouts participate, as well as local bands. Some of my students have been in this parade.
Santa is always healthy and robust. He has no complaints! He loves parading around like that. He brings joy to many children and adults alike! It keeps him young. Ho! Ho! Ho! Merry Christmas! Hey, check out the Festival of Lights in East Peoria!!
