My wife came home the other night said she was getting some clothes and staying at her mothers, I said ok. The next day I leave home and go to work when i return home she had taken almost everything in the house. We have no children is this abandoment?

Yes it is. You have an easy divorce at hand. Uncontested divorce and you can do it yourself without any attorney. Let her go and move on with your life. One important thing is that if she went with your stuff that you had before you all got married, let the judge knows about it so that she would be ordered to return your stuff back. Good luck

In some states that term means nothing. Are you in a "no fault " state? And even if she abandon you, what do you care? I guess what I'm saying is "ok now what are you going to do with it?" As long as she didn't take more then half of the total worth, sounds like you're better off being rid of her now instead of 20 yrs from now. With no kids involved, get divorce and move on, I'm sure there's someone out there for you. In 2 yrs look back on all the friends you have that you wouldn't have had? Good Luck and keep smiling
