Which Kaberle? Which Kozlov? Which Bergeron? Which J. Williams?

I would rank it about a 7 to 7.5 out of 10. If goaltending is important, I would give it a 6.5 to 7.

Andy McDonald lost Selanne, he will suffer as a result. Bertuzzi needed a Selanne, not a McDonald to revive his career.

Recchi is getting older and older and will be 40 before the season ends. The Penguins have been moving into a younger dynamic and Roberts and Recchi this year will both suffer as the younger stars spend more and more time playing together.

Viktor Kozlov is one of the NHL's colossal underachievers. he averages 46 points every 82 games. and has only scored more than 56 once...........in 12 years.

You're goaltending is weak. Budaj will get wins because of the offense will carry his team, but he has traditionally had less than stellar CAAs and SV% in every league he's been in. DiPietro will be suffering along with the other Islanders such as Satan and Bergeron.

I'd say based on the amount of players per position, plus the depth of talent you're having to plumb, that you have 12 to 14 teams in your league. With that in mind, you did fairly well. Your defense may have issues (although Kaberle- assuming Tomas- is very underrated) with injuries and age; Preissing may not get huge playing time in LA with the clogged blue line they have (Visnovsky bieng the big scoring threat, Stuart, Rob Blake, and Modry). Your depth on RW is necessary considering Recchi's instability (will probably play LW on 2nd line with Malkin). You clearly overrated Drury, however, seeing as how he's going to be a role player on the Rangers' weak 2nd line (Avery and the oft-injured Shanahan will be his linemates). Consider an upgrade at C, or a player with C/RW playability (Michael Cammalleri or Nathan Horton will both fit these categories after a month of the season). Also don't rate Budaj too highly; some have him losing the job back to Theodore at some point; DiPietro is your more solid bet for certain.
