I Hate the fact that they can eat whatever they want and not gain weight but I don't hate them, and that's because they have a very high/or fast metabolism, and that makes them burn calories faster and never gain a single pound! (even if they don't exercise) I'm so jealous!
-(For all those who got this question the wrong way) I think Lory didn't mean it that way......
I think she really doesn't hate the people who can eat and not gain weight (well that's what I'm hoping) she hates that fact that they can eat and eat without gaining weight. (I think that's what she meant.)

I hate it too. My friend is one of "those" people. Every time I see him he is eating. He eats all day long and never gains a pound. I guess they just eat and then poop it out, no digestion involved whatsoever. All I gotta say is it must be nice.

It's because of their metabolism. I used to be just like that, until I hit puberty and started to gain a bit of weight in different places. I've always been slim though.
I think, just like some are just genetically predisposed to gaining weight quickly, the opposite is true; where weight gain is near impossible for these "lucky" few.

Er, no.
(1) I don't "hate". It is a poison that only hurts the hater.
(2) How would you like to have to constantly eat just to maintain your weight? It isn't a picnic. I do long distance running and after a while it becomes a pain to have to take in calories all the time to keep from wasting away because of the high level of activity inherent to long distance running.
(3) Surely you can find something better to direct your ill feelings?

I'm a tennis coach and I'm up to 10 hours a day on court.
If I DON'T eat everything I can lay my hands on, I lose up to 3 kilograms in a week...
(And it's not just water that I lose. I do sweat a lot but drink more than 6 liters of water a day.)

I know a lot of people who can do that, and yes I really feel bad that they will eat more than me and still not gain while I'll eat a little and be worried...lol

I know! But then again, even though I'm 140 I've maintained this weight for years. I did lose a few pounds lately though *cheers*
I have friends like that, they don't even think it's a big deal!
