i have a 2005 quadsport LTZ250 and i want to make the exhaust sound louder with out having to buy a new muffler.

Some mufflers have baffles in them that you can remove. See if there are and screws or nuts at the end of your pipe. If there is try removing them and the baffles should come out. If you can't remove them just put a couple small holes at the front of the muffler underneath.

you can if you want to be heard further away so that more people will complain. you shouldnt modify it in any way even the pro's dont.
but you can just cut of the tip or bash it around it works.
Modifying your bikes exhaust will only lower the performance and not make the bike run proper!
