My parents have Road Runner premium (10 mbps) and sometimes it just goes out for no reason.
Email is another thing that problematic. Sometimes it won't recieve or send messages, but the internet is working. They also have digital phone and sometimes the calls are dropped.

Time Warner has been out to our house so many times, but nothing changes. They've replaced wireless routers, but the same thing happens?

Does anyone else have AT&T or Road Runner? Could you tell me your experience with the 2.

Kevin, I had AT&T. What a scam. I had problems constantly and when I called they said there would be a fee if they had to come out. I have had problems with Roadrunner but usually have discovered it is some line that is not dug down deep enough by them or that some dog in a neighbor's yard chewed the wire. I have the digital phone and never have any problems except (coincidence) when AT&T trucks are out and working on the digital systems of their own. Then, time warner comes out and discovers some mystery has been clipped in our lines which are conspicously close to AT&T's. I honestly think that AT&T are dirty dealers. I have always had problems with AT&T. I have lived in this house for 7 years. Two years I have had Roadrunner and digital. 5 I have had AT&T. I am much happier with Roadrunner. If you get AT&T and have trouble, you will pay them an hourly rate to get it right and you have to have a one year contract. That's not true with Roadrunner. (Unless things have changed in the last two years as far as that policy goes).

I had the digital phone through Time Warner, I had problems constantly!!!! Once in awhile my Internet goes in and out but just for a short period of time. I tried to get At&t Dsl but I'm right on the border of the cut off line & yes I live right in S.A. Makes no sense. Anyhow with that being said I hated the digital phone!!!

I've had AT&T for the last two years; never had any problem, even when using wireless router. I recommend it

Kevin,

I have had both at different times, currently have ATT DSL. Never had major problems with either.

No problems. The cable into your house/ the box could be compromised.
