For a science olympiad competition? And I don't mean beans in a container, or paper over a comb, or wine glasses. And guitars are too common. I want to do something different. I've been looking up how to make flutes and panpipes and vegetable instruments. Do you think vegetables will be allowed in the competition? Just gimme all ur ideas. Thanx. ^^

try a water piano by taking jars with different amounts of water in them and tapping lightly
water pianos are also played by rubbing the top of the jars or glasses of water and a squeel comes out

How about a 'flute' whose resonant chamber shape is determined by water level, which is determined by a bagpipes-type bellows? Or a pedal-powered pipe organ, or a fluidic-control pipe organ? Or a drawn-bow instrument (like a violin) controlled from a keyboard?
