love is a stronger word. It's an emotion. If you love someone, even if you must not necessarily be in love with that person, you have some kind of emotional tie to that person. Like is a weaker word. You can like your soup, your dog or, well, anything, really. I hope this helps.

a crush is when u only know so much as to why u like them. and crushes can last a long time, but generally if its just a crush then it will fade usually pretty fast. love is when you know as much about the person as possible, when you care about the person dearly, and every time your around this person, your heart flutters and you feel weak all over, and you cant not think about that person for more than 5 seconds. the only thing u want is to be with that person, the person has been in your dreams multiple times. and you just love them more than anything in the world. when its love, you can feel it. the burning sensation that overwhelms your body, its love. Love is the strongest thing on earth.

`Like' is the seed you plant. You water it, nurse it and eagerly wait for it to sprout. Like still continues... the first leaf, the first shake in the breeze ..aahaa! ...You slowly start loving it. You look for its company, affection, tender care, look etc.
The first flower appears and my god you are in such a state of mind and go all the way out to express your Love!
