I wore hipsters and bikinis at 13. My mother would have killed me if I even tried to look at a thong at that age.

I'm 17, and I only wear thongs when I'm wearing dresses (don't want pantylines). Not a fan of fabric up the butt.

I don't know about being "appropriate", but I think if you need to wear a thong (for example, so panty lines won't show), then I suppose you should. I personally never started wearing them until I was 15 or 16.

I like the first Halloween costume the best (so cute), then the second one after that. The other two are cute but I just don't care for costumes like that (ones that play on tradition/heritage).

When I was 13 I wore bikini style undies from Victoria's or cute ones from the mall. If I wore a thong at 13 I'd be killed.
I started to wear thongs Jr year of high school. I'm much older now, I wear thongs, bikini, whatever I feel like for that day or depending on my outfit. Best of luck to you.

Hi Sweetie, I am a mom of 2 and I think that it is not really appropriate for a 13 year old to wear thongs, however!! My daughter, when she was 10, always hiked up her regular undies up her butt so I let her wear thongs. Then one day, her teacher found out and I was frowned upon. I thought, she really shouldn't wear thongs until she is about 17+. I didn't wear them until 32! Well, I confess, they just came out in about 1990 or something. Anyway, I thing you should be respected more as a 13 year old if you wear hipsters only,,okay hon? You're only young once and you have a whole life ahead of you to experiment with grown up things.

Wow you're 13 and wear thongs? No lie that is a bit young. I'm 16 and started wearing thongs last year and I also wear boyshorts. When I was 13, I wore bikinis and boyshorts. Most of my underwear is from victorias secret pink.

I think 13 is too young for thongs. Besides, they can cause damage to your body. Increases risks of infections, yeast infections, irritation, chaffing.... What's wrong with cute pairs of boy-cut undies? I'm 24, and I only wear thongs when I have a snug pair of dress pants on, to prevent the panty line.

Panties: who is paying for them? If mom is, she makes the rules. I think 13 is a bit young. What is the purpose of thongs?
If your briefs/hiphuggers/bikinis/boyshorts fit and your slacks aren't too tight, you shouldn't need them. I never wear them, because they are unhygienic.
I like the fairy and the Native American costumes.
Witches and geishas do not wear fishnets or platform shoes!
They look like an excuse to show off.
[ Also, the fairy and Native costumes could be worn with tights if it's a little cool. ]

Wateva is comfortable 4 u. But i dont think thongs r slutty @ all, i mean, who wants VPL (visible panty lines) but when i was 13 i wore boyshorts or thongs, and im definatley not a slut! But 4 da costume thing, i like da 3 1 best! Good luck!

I wore bikini when I was 13 (and still do!). They cover everything up but you can still wear them with low-rise jeans.
