No. The limit is the limit. An analogy is like trying to put 10 gallons in an 8 gallon jar. The jar won't even know the other two gallons are there let alone where.

Your computer has two slots or banks, each of them will hold one stick of memory. You can place One 1GB stick in each slot to achieve the maximum 2GB. If they manufacture 2GB sticks to fit that notebook, then it would be physically possible to insert One 2GB stick of memory into each slot however your computer will not be able to utilize anything over the 2GB specification so it would be a waste of money to purchase the additional RAM.

Also, that is a pretty fast Notebook why would you need more than 2GB of memory?

physically yes, but your system cant access beyond 2gb, so itd be pointless to have more than that
