I know the defense is crap. I selected all D's in the last four rounds of the draft.

It's a 12 rotisserie league.

Honestly..............I'm not impressed.

Two of your goalies are from teams that aren't really playoff bound (and part of the reason is their aging goaltenders)

Steve Sullivan is out until Christmas

Ovechkin is a minus player

you'll do well if you can avoid injuries (probably unlikely). Kipper has a really bad hip and he's getting older, I think he'll miss some significant time this year. Throw in other injury candidates like demitra, sullivan and cole and you could be in big trouble at some point during the year. Poti is a great pick, I think he'll do really well on the PP in washington with all that offensive talent. Phillips is a shut down defensman which means he'll be playing against top units (probably not good for numbers even though he is a good shut down guy). might wanna drop him for someone like Leopold who should be getting lots of time in Colorado on the PP and who is almost completely passed over in drafts. He's an injury risk too, but as FA pick up it's not much of a loss if he goes down.

Ovechkin will go back to his rookie numbers (say, 45+G 55+A) because he now has a decent pivot in Michael Nylander. Kiprusoff is (for some reason) massively underrated, and has the potential to be as good as Luongo or Brodeur. Jokinen is also massively underrated (for some reason- not his performance or durability). Danny Sedin is good, but don't try to acquire a linemate in his brother (who can't seem to score goals). Brad Richards seems a bit of a reach, considering all the other talent you were able to get. I'm guessing this is a ten-team league or less. There are better centers available on free agency (look for Mikko Koivu, Stephen Weiss, Michal Handzus, or the like to fill out your roster). Considering that you drafted D at the end of your draft, Poti and Mara aren't too bad. Hainsey is terrible, dump him immediately for someone widely passed over (look at maybe Frantisek Kaberle, Francois Beauchemin, maybe even, if your league lost their minds, Sami Salo). All in all not too bad, although you might consider an upgrade at your 2nd G position (Kolzig is time-sharing, Roloson did well last year despite all the objections people had for him this year, but he is aging). Maybe move Cole before he suffers another injury.

I think overall you have a pretty good team. You seem to have covered every part of the points.

Well done = D !
