If I made them in the first place, I probably didn't know that I was making them, so I probably go on making them and don't even know it.
And then, when someone critical comes along and tells me I'm making a mistake, how do I know it's true? How do I know that the critical person isn't just mistaken? It's confusing.
And to make it worse, sometimes what looks like a mistake has wonderful results.
I do like to make various mistakes, though. Making the same ones gets tedious.

It all depends on the mistake. I usually learn from all my mistakes but sometimes it takes more than just the mistake to teach you. For ex, If you feel you should take care of your family so you loan baby sis money she doesnt pay back and you realize it was stupid to loan her money in the first place but two weeks later baby sis needs money for a car so she can get back and forth to school, she swears she will payback you know she wont but you wouldnt dare prevent her from getting to school cause you feel responsible as her big sis for making sure she gets an education,so you give it to her again. I never occurs to you she can always catch the bus. You are use to taking care of her so you make that money mistake over and over. I have seen this so often,.

Both. I think there are two levels of functioning (at least for me): on the ordinary everyday level, I can and do adapt to changing circumstances, such as changing the clocks or changing what I do or the way I do something at work, instead of showing up late to work repeatedly or repeatedly making messes unnecessarily.
In terms of the bigger picture, it scares me very much to be alone, and that influences me to tend to make rash decisions, both because my social exposure is very limited to non-existant, and because I don't see that changing any time soon, if ever.
I guess I'm saying that circumstances put me on the fringes of life where repeated mistakes not only happen, but are to be expected.

Those who learn from their mistakes are creators of the future. Those who continue to make the same ones don't want to go anywhere.

i try to not make the same mistakes but sometimes i only realize that i have repeated my mistakes when i have made my mistakes. oh well. life goes on. the good mixed with the bad. it's not the destination that matters; it's the journey.

I make plenty of mistakes but I like to think that they're usually new ones.
Except for my tendency to date neurotic Jewish men, I can't say that I've repeated too many of my mistakes, LOL!
