Nah, when I see them sleeping in their cardboard boxes in the alley, I just steer clear of 'em.
I would just hose them down though, I don't think just wiping them would help that much, They're pretty rank!

Wrap the toilet paper around your hand to create a sort of toiletpaperglove. Insert hand into crack. Flush away the glove.
