I think it's hard for most people to have an un-challenged faith in something or someone they can't see, hear, or touch. There are so many unanswered questions about the Almighty, that most people tend to either brush it off as mans attempt to give a reason for something happening, or an excuse for something not happening.

No one holds the answer to gods true being, or if anything that we have read about him so far is the truthful spoken word. The only thing I can say is that it all depends on the person. I have grown stronger in my faith through personnal experiences through out my life. I have found that through prayer and faith, a lot of the things that where wrong in my life where made right once I turned to the teachings of the bible.

I wasn't raised to go to church, or to read the scriptures. Because my father believed that if there was a god, he wouldn't have went through the things he did. But I learned that we sometimes go through the things we go through, because we don't believe as we should.

Now, life is so much easier for me. And it's easier for me to be there for other people while they endure the same "tests" that I have in order to bring me closer to the heavenly divine. So to answer your question, it's hard to believe in god, when you don't believe in his teachings. Once you understand the living words given to us by both god and his son, then you start to believe. But it's not easy! It took me a while, and I'm still learning.

It all depends on what "god" you believe in. There are many different cultures and religions with many different gods. It is hard to follow a god when you believe that they require you to live a strict lifestyle or perform certain hard tasks, but some gods that people believe in don't do that.

There is also a matter of how apt a person is to believing in something. Some people need a lot of evidence before they believe something and others can just believe based on their feelings.

I also need to mention that you don't need to write "at least" twice. Sorry, but it was bothering me.

It is easy to believe in god but it is difficult to understand god. Its my belief that the main reason why people turn away is because they cannot relate to god. Their are many different versions and scriptures through out the world that possibly point to the same god. People just assume their version is correct and all others are incorrect because the have read that somewhere. That is false someone told them this because if they read it they would find the meaning that explains that the false religions are those such as envy, possibly the TV and Internet. To truly understand god you must read his words and not let someone paraphrase for you. Be sure to read various versions and counterpoints as well to discover your own beliefs. Because what you believe and what I believe should never be the same thing....as long as we both believe

There was a time when people needed a diety to explain what they did not know. Now we know so much, yet it is possible that we only have a greater understading of wheat we do not know. We are no further than the ancients. All was put into place with such structure that it leaves for no other exlaination other than the existence of God. With that, it is not hard to believe in God.

It has been for me, mostly. There was a time when "Holy Grail, Holy Blood" came out. (One of the authors sued the author of "The DaVinci Code" claiming he stole the idea from him.) The first part of the book made a lot of sense (I didn't get the second half.) and I began to panic. I then decided that I was going to believe in God until someone proved to me beyond a shadow of a doubt that he didn't exist. From then on, it hasn't been a problem and has made other things easier to deal with.

It can be easy to believe in God, but that ease depends alot on your environment and upbringing. Peer pressure either pro or anti-religion can be strong. To believe anything you have to consider the evidence - and since tangible evidence is somewhat lacking (by design) of God, it requires a different set of perceptive skills. This perception is self-examination and spirituality. Without a spiritual awareness, I think it's impossible to believe in God (in a meaningful way). What becomes more difficult is what is the true essence of God - or what God is real and worthy of our consideration and worship. That requires research and contemplation.

For humans it usually is easy to believe in gods and/or entities b/c humans can't except the fact that they don't know how life was created or where you go after you die so they create suitable explanation and choose to believe in that. For example, people used god as the person who created the entire universe. For some people it's not easy to believe in god because they are skeptical and/or they believe there's another explanation than that. Some people believe that it's not a good enough explanation so they don't believe and some have other deities to believe in so they don't believe in 'god' (or the christian god specifically)

Is it easy? Honestly that would very apon different people. I for one am not sure what to believe in. My family is christian, but i find some of the stuff at church hard to believe (or prove). God means a higher power. So yes I believe there are higher powers for sure, but is there an "almighty" being? I don't think anyone has the right anwser there

Different situations allow for different beliefs. I find that I can believe in God after some events or during some things, while not during others. Now make your own paragraph out of that.

It is very easy to believe in God because it is based off of mythical fairy tales. The ignorant, which are the majority in the world, are naive and gullible so of course it's easy to believe in stories that make no sense scientifically or logically. If God were real he would prove it, why did he write a book over 2000 years ago, so he could look at all of us turn atheist and go to hell?
