ok, so my 8th grade english teacher has a Friday Fun Activity for the last 30 minutes of class every friday. she wants us to write down an idea for the Friday Fun Activity. she wants us to get to know each other in the class. any ideas??

Put the name of a story book character on a label on each students back - then have other students answer yes or no questions until they guess who it is then the label is moved to the front of the person. This is a party mixer and a good way to get to know someones interest. Try characters like Anne of Green Gables, Superman, Nancy Drew, Harry Potter, etc. it is fun and really encourages everyone to move around and talk to other people. Good Luck!

Food - everyone or groups create their favorite recipe and share it with the class. Could be a recipe from their heritage of background. make your own sundae. Teacher supplies the ice cream and everyone else brings in add-ons, spoons, bowls, etc.
Show n Tell - everyone did it in kindergarten but it's still fun.
Charades.
