C2...Speed of light squared...Why?

Is this a 2-way trip?....The way there and back....? Back to what?....What is the origin of light, and what does it return to?
When light, or any radiation, gets emitted, it ultimately gets absorbed. Could the return trip be that absorption trip....?
Is this the process that keeps space-time a Constant?

I am not a mathematician nor a physicist, it took me some time to piece this together from my own ponderings and sketchy understanding of the topic.

Einstein's equation < e=mc^2 > shows that variable energy (e) is directly related to variable mass (m) by a constant value (c^2).

From this, I take the c^2 as indicating the impossibly massive photonic explosion (e) of (full-spectrum) radiation that would result, if you should accelerate a variable mass (m) to the speed of light.

I am only a dreamer and this does seem to make a kinda sense but my knowledge of physical mathematics is limited.

btw - if you are familiar with the idea of electrons orbiting the nucleus in rings - if you can excite an electron to jump from one ring to another, it will release some energy as photons (ie: radiation). This might create a certain instability within the electronic configuration of the atom and the electron may jump back (releasing a secondary photon)

Also, if you are familiar with the idea of conservation of energy - photonic energy is absorbed creating heat - this conversion process is not wholly perfect - the difference being considered entropy - supposedly the one thing that will eventually consume all matter.

I suppose you are referring to E=Mc^2. That is the energy equivalent of matter. Mv is the momentum of a mass moving at veloocity = v. Mv^2 is the kinetic energy of a mass moving at velocity = v.
