It's all about finger pointing and an attempt to discredit other sources, it's not really about the actual act.

I suppose that the general really believed his report..I suppose Bush really believes his own BS as well. That doesn't make it any less BS. I suppose that we'll never really know what's going on in Iraq....there's no 'news' on the news and what 'news' you hear is has little bearing on the situation. There is one Aussi guy on CNN that actually has a handle on what's going on in Iraq, but of course since so many people watch FOX they never hear it and the other networks are too busy reporting all about OJ or Brittany or a cat in a tree that nobody gets the story from them either. The right wing radio nitwits spend most of their time beating up the non-existant 'liberals' and rah-rahing the war...not much help there. Basically the American people really don't give half a fat rats @ss about his war since they have no particular dog in the fight. Public apathy is the criminal in this case and the Bush Junta and the ditto-heads are just as much to blame. I do believe that the general betrayed us...there is no 'progress' in Iraq. It may have reached a lower level of equilibrium but that level is still far too high to support a legitimate government and nobody can convince me that the US installed 'Vichy Iraq' government is legit....it isn't and it wasn't meant to be. It's just another Bush Junta fig leaf to coverup a grab for middle east oil.

This isn't the first time the right got all up in arms because MoveOn made them nervous. A few years ago, MoveOn sponsored a contest for an ad. One entry (which was never selected) showed Bush morphing into Hitler. The right wing sounding board went all a tizzy. Never mind that that same week a popular conservative editorial writer had called John Kerry Hitler.
And somehow, the "liberal" press never got around to showing us that.

If you have not noticed Hagel is not a General of the Army. And Congress does NOT run a war the Generals and the Commander in Chief does.
So Hagel is an A*SS.

Well, Rush commented on things already put forth by Hagel, The good General hadn't even spoken before being called that and a liar. They really jumped the gun on this one.

Rush didn't plaster it all over TV. The only people that listen to him are the ones that share his views. The Move on ad was targeted at everyone.
What I find really funny is that the people defending this ad are the same ones that say that the swift boat vets had no right to advertise their opinion.

Does anybody even listen to Limbaugh anymore? All I can hear is his medicine cabinet opening everytime he needs to pop a pill or two. If Limbaugh used the term "Betray Us" first, then - for goodness sakes - let's be sure to give him full credit!!! -RKO- 09/22/07

Your problem is you can't make the distinction between a
General and a Senator. There's a huge difference last time I
checked!

I wish Moveon would be shut down. It has nothing to say but lies and people go back for more.
