Never did myself; but I saw some at a friend's party.
They had carved out some and put candles in them and lighted the place. Pretty.

before carving i cut the top off and take out the seeds, then i scrape the pulp out to make some pumpkin pies.YUMMY!!!!!!!

Yes I do.........
One each year...others I buy...
I take a big pumpkin,a newspaper & knife and go outdoors and carve away.
I try to see just how ugly I can make it...

yep. i often make either funny faces, or i carve a whole that looks like candy, or a ghost, When im done, i put the candle in.

yes, but invariably, they end up a pile of goo on the floor because my carving skills are limited to hacking things apart.

Its a tradition, I do it every halloween. I hate scooping the inside's out, but its part of the process.

Yes we do. I buy template books so we can have great designs to choose from each year. We have a good time with it.
