Yes ofcourse. You will have to change the channel settings, depending on which country you are in. Most hotels have wireless internet access these days so I'm sure someone at the hotel can help you

Yes, as long as you're somewhere like a hotel or coffee shop which has a Wi-Fi access point. You'll have to pay when you log in, though - unless you've got an existing account in the UK that offers international roaming.
