Even though Keith Emerson has some very insane keyboard solos, Freddy Mercury still did write "Bohemian Rhapsody" and Rick Wright has had some great group contributions when in Pink Floyd but he's always been overlooked. Who do you think is the better keyboardist of the three? Thanks, your answers are very much appreciated!

FYI, Here's where they're from:

Keith Emerson: Emerson Lake & Palmer (ELP)

Freddie Mercury: Queen

Rick Wright: Pink Floyd

I personally love Richard Wright, he wasn't as talented as Emerson, but he such a good sense of Rhythm (just like every other member of Floyd...) and he really made the Floyd sound distinct. To bad his wok wasn't so prominate in the later Floyd/Roger waters led Floyd. Wrights contributions is one on the main reasons I loved the earlier Floyd.

They're all very good, you could add Rick Wakeman to the mix as far as technical chops, but for me I'll take Richard Wright. The warped touches he brought to Pink Floyd are brilliant. I've never heard a classical flourish done on a toy piano that sounds as good as "See Emily Play".

a million)the two for various motives 2)Keith is extra experienced 3)Wakeman-awaken Emerson-all the 1000 solos on Karn Evil 9 i admire keith because of the fact he makes use of maximum of different sounds and can quite draw you right into a different international what Wakeman performs in a extra elegant way as stated above. yet my fav is Jon Lord because of the fact he's an extremely good improviser

Of the 3--Emerson

But I'd say Rick Wakefield of Yes was the best

Freddie Mercury hands down.
How can you even compare his genius to those other two?
