On the top because I always have this unnatural fear that the top bunk is going to break and fall on the bottom bunk.

On the top. When I was a kid I always hated getting my hair caught in the springs under the top bunk!

neither i would never sleep in a bunk bed, i will only sleep in full, queen or king bed and i would be scared that the top bunk would fall i seen it before
