I've heard that UCB is the feeder for UCSF, so if so then what is the admission rate from UCB as opposed to other universities?
(I am planning to major in biology).

I want to go to the UCSF graduate school of medicine and i was wondering what the admission rate from UCB to UCSF was compared with the admission rate to UCSF from other colleges.

Huh? UCSF is a step down from UCB. Who told you that?

Perhaps they mean that a lot of those who get into UCSF's medical school get their undergraduate degrees at UCB? That is a possibility. Going to a good undergraduate school is important for getting into Medical school -- and Berkeley is a great school.

I seriously doubt that getting a UCB degree gives you an advantage over getting a degree at a place like Stanford -- but it would be a slight advantage over a degree from another UC school and a big advantage over getting a degree at a CSU school.
