You should be able to use any brand of printer with it just make sure you have the right connector on the computer for the printer,
either a parallel connector or a USB connector.

The brand of the computer does not affect which printer you can buy. Rather, the operating system does that. Any computer purchased within the last 8 years likely has USB ports, and any computer purchased with the last 5 likely has Windows XP. In this case, basically ANY printer purchased today will work with your computer.
If you're running a computer with an older version of Windows, you'll need to search for a printer that is compatible with that version.
If you're computer happens to be old enough to not have any USB ports, you can search for a printer with a parallel connection. The only problem is that finding a new printer these days with a parallel connection can be very difficult. Likely, you'll have to buy an USB add-on card for your computer.
Recap: Any computer purchased (new) within the last 5 years will work with pretty much any new printer.
Hope this helps.

We had 1 of these from ASDA last year (it broke down after 3 months) but the printer we bought was a HP deskjet F380, v.cheap & cheerful, but it worked fine (& continues to do so with the acer P.C we replaced it with !)

Most newer printers will work, they all have the same type of connection for the printer cord.
