I wouldn't say he voluntarily sacrificed anything. His blind love for Helen, addled his brains. But then again, he was tempted by Aphrodite's gift of finding the love of the most beautiful woman. ( If you follow the mythology closely ) He could've chosen Hera or Athena. But he chose Aphrodite instead. I would like to believe she did play a part in the expedition against Troy.

Whereas for Athena, she gave the grecians 'epiphany' to build the Trojan Horse. How wonderful.

Which is turn put the alliance that Troy worked so hard to build with Greece at jeopardy. His brother Hector, his entire kingdom's demise.

he sacrificed his life! when menelaus called out to him "to send his wife out or fight him" he chose to keep helen safe within the walls and went to battle him, knowing that he would be killed as menelaus was known to be a great warrior, while paris was raised as shepard and had little to no fighting skills

That is interesting. I see nothing sacrificed by him. Because he does not even pericsh as Hector does. Am glad u brought that up. I will think more on it.

Hm I'm not terriably sure he really sacraficed anything however he offered to loose his family and title by running away with her. He lost his brother Hector however, and his family...and his city,...He lost much however willingly sacraficed..eehhhh.
