They've had conversations with Lindros, Selanne, and Forsberg. No luck in any case.
Apparently Nonis has no intention of giving up any draft picks or young defencemen so he doesn't have a lot to work with.
Again, this team has more offensive firepower than the last two New Jersey Devils Cup winners, and a similar style defence. It's not a stretch for them to make it all the way. Noted hockey expert Stan Fischler has picked a Vancouver -Rangers final. It should be noted that he has a very good track record as well.

Peter Forsberg or Teemu Selanne would fit the bill.

I don't think there is anybody out there aside from Forsberg and Selanne.
