i receive a phone call from a guy that call me by name and told me the last four digits of my social security number and he wanted to know was this the last four digits he said he was from delta dental i told him i did not know my ssn[do not give your number out to anyone] and he hung up i really don't know how he got the last 4 digets do you?

Do you have delta dental insurance? If not, people can still manage to get social security numbers, but I'm like you, I don't know how they do it.

Sounds like a phising scam. Never give out personal info to someone who calls you on the phone.
