says in my profile I have one star.. Not sure about this star stuff still New on here.

If you ask a question that someone thinks is a real good one, they will give you a star. They're worth points (just like giving an answer or getting a 'best answer').

Its a way to improve the quality of the questions on YA - if you read some of the questions you know that there are a lot of silly or just plain bad questions.

If you have a star, congratulations on asking something meaningful and interesting.
