i just found out i have to wear my back brace for 6 months more which i've been wearing already for three years. I have to sleep in it, and wear it to school. I have to wear it for 18-22 hours a day. i'm so sad. Can someone cheer me up or make me laugh?

Man people are being mean. O.K. I'll tell you a joke.
A man runs into a bar, and yells, "bartender quick!! give me ten beers and ten shots of tequila."
The bartender rushes, and starts pulling the beers and pouring the shots. The man drinks them as quickly as they are poured. After finishing all of them, the bartender is just amazed at how much, and how fast this guy drank. So he asks him, "God man, what's gotten into you?" The guy replies, "Dude, if you had what I have, you'd drink like that too." Bartender says, "well, what do you have?" The guy replies, "Fifty cents."

I can"t think of any appropiate jokes right now, but I can tell you a story though. When my dad was honorably discharged from the Army, he recently after went to my grandparents house to work on the rooftop. He fell off and broke HIS back. He was in the full body cast for almost 2 years. While he was recovering, the Army called him up to go to the Gulf War, he was to dissappointed that he couldn't go. Right now I am trying to do what I can to follow in his footsteps by rejoining the military and ship out. Since that incident, my dad made a full recovery and is working security at a local casino.

i am not big in the cheer departmant . but this should enlighten you . i really dont no the circumstances behind your injury but i have a freind in the bahamas that has been in a wheel chair for over 12 yrs they find comfort in the fact that the accident that caused his mishap took the life of 3 other people and so he embraces each day as though its his last he simply enjoys life and always sees the positive . i urge you to see the positive . you can use your ailment to uplift other by always having a positive attitude life is not always about us lets involev others in our world by wearing an outwould smile and by showing and wearing a positive attitude . you will be a blessing to someone if they see you inspite of your circumstances always cheerry and btite .

Well, I have an unlimited time with my braces, and I've been wearing them for two years.
Right now, things just seem worse than they were in the beginning.

If your worried about what people are thinking or saying about you wearing it, just know that one day it can come off. Some people have something worse they have to "wear" for there whole lives.
