I tried turning router on and off, tried turning computer on and off, didn't work, just came back of it's own accord, don't know why

Could it be the microfilter as my sister couldn't phone me last night when I was on the net. I have microfilters in both phone sockets and phone working at the moment whilst on net.

its your internet company having trouble not you,your internet provider does maintence,you lose your connection,if you use your phone compant then when they have trouble with the phone lines you lose your connections samething if you use a dish or cable company

this could be a problem with your supllier or more likely the router may be at fault, my friend had the same problem with his bt hub & had to keep rebooting it (unplugging the power) give that a go. if you still have problems & its not your network provider then request a new router.
