also dont say go outside and get some excercise. it if freakin 100 degrees outside!!!!!!!

Okay --- I'm a mom/and grandma and I have a myspace and I have friends' kids who are friends on my myspace and I ONLY allow friends on my page (although I'm public as I don't have anything to worry about)....the teenagers are on private and my almost daughter-in-law is not only private BUT even her comments and friends are "hidden" -- set up your page like that and show your mom that you are doing this......I understand there are pedophiles out there and YOU DO HAVE TO BE CAREFUL BUT if your mom is aware that you are being safe and just talking to your friends, maybe she'll be okay with it. SET HER UP A MYSPACE (I've gotten in touch with OLD OLD OLD friends - like from when I was 5 and it's awesome).....she just isn't familiar with it. Show her my answer if you want. My almost daughter-in-law got me started and I've had one for a long time now....and truthfully, Yahoo QA -- some people can be darn right mean when you ask a question and I look at the answers and feel so sad for the kids on there who are depressed just needing someone to give them CORRECT INTELLIGENT information....I think myspace is even safer (as long as you are set on private).....

Why do you want to lie to your mom? After all she's done for you?? She's just trying to help and protect you. She loves you. She wants you to have the best life you could ever dream of. Tell her the truth. Or, just don't go on myspace as much. REALLY go on other sites. Facebook, RuneScape, etc. Be the daughter that your Mom has always wanted and is proud of.

well when im bored i go to www.addictinggames.com but seriously just call up some friends and go out because when your on the computer to much you can get your vision blured then you'll have to where glasses....

I'd say (not knowing your interests) Wikipedia, you can waste days looking up your favorite soap opera characters or actors, or music groups.
Of course your mom is right, you don't exercise how are you going to look?
