No I did not. I believe it became a classic long after I graduated from high school.

I did read it when my friend suggested it. I loved the book. Holden was so insecure.

No..well, part of it I read...but not for a class. My granddaughter mentioned it to me a few years ago and I happened to run across a copy. One of us still has it..paper back...I think neither of us read it. Is the movie by the same name? I'd like to see it.

Yes loved it. Salinger, good author, we also had to read another one I really liked and cant remember what it was now. Its also a movie

Hated To Catch a Mocking Bird though.
