You noted one key fact in your question.

Other Key Facts:

1) We know that many traits (of humans, plants, and animals) are determined by their DNA.

2) We know that, within species, we see geographical diversity of traits with dominant traits being linked to environmental conditions. For example, sickle-cell anemia is frequently found in populations that trace their roots back to areas in which malaria was a problem. Sickle-cell anemia reduces the risk of catching malaria (though it does create other problems).

3) Fossil record of similar species to modern species that are now extinct.

4) Theories of radioactivity that have been tested over time allow us to use radiation to relatively accurately date those fossils. Dating which consistently place the same extinct species in the same time frame in different locations.

5) Present-day mutations and changes in species including bacteria which has developed resistance to anti-biotics.

Each of the above facts is explained by the theory of evolution. No alternative theory has been devised that adequately explains those facts. Each of the above facts has been verified by repeated experiments/real world discoveries. None of the above facts has been contradicted by repeated experiments/real world discovery. Attempts to evade the conclusion of evolution have themselves "evolved" to essentially concede that evolution explains modern developments but speculate that at some time in the past a different process took place (without any evidence as to when this process took place or how it took place).

I am willing to accept that God had a role in the development of species but the evidence indicates that that role was in creating the evolutionary process.

Don't have to believe it., it's a fact, life on earth has changed over time (or evolved).

infobrokernate you post if full of wrong info and misconceptions about evolution.

"I believe animals change and adapt, but I don't believe a cell just grew an arm or a chimp morphed into a human."

considering that evolution doesn't state that a "cell just grew an arm" or that a "chimp morphed into a human", I don't see what the problem is

"If eveolution was real, we would see continuing evidence occuring in the wild as an ongoing process like chimps gradually becoming human like"

no evolution does NOT mean things become more "human like", in fact a bacterium is just as evolved or even more evolved than a human being

Yes I do.
And we do see continuing evidence of it in nature, if our actions would give organisms a chance to evolve.
microorganisms evolve quickly and are constantly evolving, because their generations rates are so short, they will actually evolve to survive most things we do to them, even while other wildlife will not.

If one specie could not evolve into another specie, there would be no such thing as Escherichia coli O157:H7 which obtained its virulence factors from shigella.

Evolution theory does not at any time suggest a cell grew an arm.

Bacteria are more evolved than human beings, for the simple fact their generation rates are much faster, and they have been around much longer.

I believe animals change and adapt, but I don't believe a cell just grew an arm or a chimp morphed into a human.

If eveolution was real, we would see continuing evidence occuring in the wild as an ongoing process like chimps gradually becoming human like.

Yes. The evidence is fairly clear on the subject. I find it silly that some people are outraged at the theory that we evolved from simpler animals but have not problem thinking we cam from dirt.

It is a huge theory. Parts of it seem reasonable and have some evidence to back them up. As for certain species evolving into another species, no I don't. There is simply NO evidence of this found to date...........
