It will be Jason Labarbera, backed up by Jonathon Bernier.

I expect LA to be battling for for the last playoff spot in the West.

They have a very good young defense with Jack Johnson having shown well in camp. The additions of Tom Preissing and Brad Stuart help a defense that was anchored by Blake, Visnovsky, and Modry.

Their young forwards are going to grow togther (Kopitar, Frolov, Brown, and Cammaleri). They were a pretty exciting team to watch at times last year, and I expect the same this year.

Jude, Can you give me an update on Tara MacLean with the Islanders (she's an executive). How's she doing?

Everyone's right, it's LaBarbera, although I don't see him doing any more wonderful than any Kings G has the past two seasons. Bernier may be the backup, although Aubin is the more solid pick for certain.

As far as Kings to do well, whoever said "only Cammalleri" has no idea what he's talking about. Frolov is a solid LW (probably a 2 on most fantasy teams); Kopitar should be drafted but won't break out for unbelievable points. Expect Michal Handzus to do much better than expected as he should get good power play time.

The best player, fantasy-wise, on LA is clearly Lubomir Visnovsky, however; based on a pure points league, he's the overlooked top-5 D league-wide (along with the obvious #1 Lidstrom, Ryan Whitney, Pronger, and possibly Rafalski). I had him as the #2 D on my board. Preissing is probably overrated, but worth a pick if everyone passes on him.

At this point I wouldn't be surprised if they go with Bernier as their starter. He has been stellar in the preseason. Though it is difficult to pick up a rookie goaltender for fantasy. Who knows what his struggles will be like. I am sure LaBarbara will see alot of playing time as well. I would avoid picking either. As for the "insider" with the Isles. Typical east coaster who knows nothing about west coast teams. The kings have many worthy fantasy players as the gentlemen above me posted. Visnovsky is easily a top 5 defenseman.

Jason Labarbera. I wouldn't even bother picking up any Kings outside Mike Cammalleri. The defense sucks, so Labarbera is going to be helpless. I hope this helps (and nets me 10 points)!
