I am sick of the daily guilt trips my family puts me through. They always use the excuse of money this, money that, and how I never do anything right and that I will never amount to anything. I am trying to improve my life here, and all they do is hold me back! I am 18, and desperate to move out, as quickly as possible. As far as money goes, I do have a job but it is not as high paying as I need. Where do I get some money to pay for tuition and books, a cheap mode of transportation, and some shared room in a house? I figure I will need maybe 10 grand total. I wouldn't even mind a loan from a bank... so if you know which one would give me the best loan, please tell me! Share your experience as well if you went through this, it will be interesting to read and a good insight. Thanks for answering!

Go to your local government family independence agency, they will offer you first months rent as long as you attend there classes on how to find a job. They also offer food assistance such as foodstamps. At the class they will help you look for employement so you wont have to depend on them.

Go and talk to an Air Force Recruiter. The Air Force would serve you well. They live pretty darn good on base these days. Coed dorms, private entrance ways. They will train you for a job, you would get paid two times per month, earn 30 days vacation (paid) per year. Once your initial training is completed (boot camp and tech school), the Air Force will pay 90% college tuition. You will not regret it. A lot of Air Force bases are in good areas throughout the United States. Check it out on the Internet. Why and go thru all of that hassle of borrowing money at such a young age when you are barely getting started in life? Your family will apprepriate you more when you come home for visits. If you are still in high school you can get your initial testing completed and go to boot camp after you graduate. Good Luck.
