Ernie Banks on class and attitude alone...the smile never left his face as he said "Lets play two"...Though missing from your list are Billy Williams, Hack Wilson, "Rajah" Hornsby, Ferguson Jenkins all considerably better than Davis, Durham, Trillo and DeJesus.

Mr. Cub Ernie Banks. Ryan Sanberg is the only one close. Sammy Sosa doesn't deserve to be on the list - he is a widely suspected steroid user (hence the huge drop off just as mlb started testing) and definetley corked his bat.
