My favorite is Crochet Pattern Cental. Also, try looking at the sites for different yarn brands, they all have free patterns. Many of them require that you sign up with them but I haven't had any spam problems. Even if you unsubscribe to their newsletters you can still access the free patterns

www.craftster.org has all kinds of craft patterns and ideas
just see the crochet forums if you want crochet patterns and ideas. you might have to register first, but registration is free.

You do have to register with your email address on this one, but they don't spam you.
Lion brand yarns also has a lot of free patterns available, but I just haven't made many items using their patterns....

My Target store here has little T-shirts and jerseys that are for small dogs that will fit a cat. I think my cats would rather be cold than wear a sweater!!! They would probably attack me in my sleep. Good luck though.
