I'm obviously a habs fan, but i honestly think they will make the first round. They look to have a pretty decent team this year.

No, there is no room at the playoff table for the Leafs.
Atlanta, Tampa, Rangers, Penguins, Senators and Sabres should lock up the first 6 positions. That leaves Toronto fighting with Carolina, New Jersey, and Philadelphia, and I'll pick all three over the Leafs for this year. They fought a battle with Montreal last year as well, and I think the Souray/Hamrlik exchange in Montreal leaves Montreal stronger.
So, I'm thinking the Leafs will be 10th/11th in the conference and out of tyhe playoffs for the 3rd year in a row.....a first in Toronto's roller coaster playoff history.
That should cement JFJ's departure from Toronto.
