The reason why television is abysmal over the weekend, is that the guv'nors of the BBC and independent channels presume the more 'intellectual' of us will not go near the tv, and will be either with relatives...or in another part of the world - or out on the town, be it in a grab-a-granny singles club or in a place which takes serious dinero from you for just queueing up.
'Tis the 'lower order' who watches telly over the weekend (allegedly) - hence the extraordinary programmes like 'Ant & Dec', repeats of repeats - and not forgetting the National Lottery! The audience who the channels chase for the rest of the week are not at home. Indeed - you should have gone out, as tv disrespects people the most come the weekend

Its just not Saturday night TV that's gone down hill
Its most nights of the week now I really begrudge paying for a TV licence when there's rubbish on TV ,

that's distinctly much all total rubbish. an entire insult to absolutely everyone with any intelligence. different than for the prolonged repeat of 'Have I have been given information For You' this is at 9pm on BBC2. After that, i would be returned to peace and quiet with my new library e book.

Yes, it may buck up during the winter programmes, the usually put good films and shows on then, I hope it does anyway we are stuck with some rubbish now !

i used to like jim davidsons generation game and big break on bbc i dont know if they were on saturdays though so i think that tv on saturday is rubbish x factor,strictly come dancing

Weekend programing sucks!!!!!!! What am I saying, most TV sucks, the only shows I like are Monk, My Name is Earl and my soaps, and I'm even getting bored with my soaps.
