Do black people not want hate crime laws to apply to them as well? Like in the "Jena Six" story?

Yes quite a few do. However, in the same town Dec 1 & Dec 2- 2 days for the "Jena 6" incident, why was it okay for a white man to hit a black teen in the head with a bottle - breaking said bottle and he is charged with a midemeanor; a white boy pull a shot gun on black teens in their OWN neighborhood, menacing them with it and he is not charged yet the D.A. is allowed the label a "tennis shoe" as a deadly weapon. I could have said "deadly weapon" if it had been a steel toed boot but a tennis shoe?
Last time I looked a broken bottle can slice, stab and kill someone, guns do the same thing

apparently they dint apply them to the white people who attacked them way before they jumped that white kid,because before they jumped him a bunch of white men and the gang of white boys jumped one of the black kids for trying to get into a party that their white Friends invited them too.they also put a gun to the black boys head and hit him with a bottle,no one said any thing about that through,but we have a black boy in prison for choosing to fight back,instead of let them do what they did.looks too me like the white men got away with it .remember this does a 100 year life sentence sound fair for a 17 year old boy involved in a high school fight(let me remind you the boy who got jumped made it to a party after wards)

attempted murder(yea okay) if it was attempted murder he wouldn't even be able to walk let alone go party hoping.)

question why :a white can jump a minor put a gun too his head beat him over the head with a glass bottle and get away with it but yet the boy gets 100 year life sentence .

and ask your self this when the man was about to shot the boy,the boy had to fight the gun out the man hands so he whodunit shoot him and got charged with steeling the mans gun,when it was self defense.
