We feed kids very softly at home,throw stones to others on road.In a private and soft atmosphere at home,we behave balanced&logical but change on becoming a part of crowd.Why we do have dual-charestiristic.why dont we keep face & mask the same.Are we by birth an actor who changes his role with his comfort and for his personal gain?

To add to what Tom S said, I also think we loose some inhibitions and social restrictions we feel when we are in a crowd and feel we are anonymous and unidentifiable. Therefore, our actions do not reflect on us as individuals, but as one of a crowd.

we have to act different ways with different groups, because we have a need to fit in..

thats why you don't talk ghetto when speaking to your boss, but its ok to do that with your friends...

If we talk ghetto to our boss, I guarentee you won't be getting a promotion anytime soon. at the same time if you talk all proper with your friends, they too will eventually diss you...

You have a face for mom
a face for your friends
a face a work
a face in public

I've seen someone who tried to be the same across the board (she was a bit ghetto), and at work, everyone called her crazy behind her back and some to her face, she diddent care, and eventually, she was out...
