Another smelly one from RSA is Orbeopsis lutea or yellow carrion flower - rotting fish is the closest I can get to the smell. Agree on the Stapelia gigantea - what a smell.

One plant whose flowers are unpleasant-smelling is the female Ginko biloba.
Another: the female Brazilian Pepper tree.
